I am looking to draft some track designs, which can br reviewed over the 25/26 October meet. I am looking for some feedback on what sort of features you would like to see at the track. Hopefully with a little realism in the suggestions.

is that due to the FG or the 5B, as they do jump if the jump is right. Need to have some challenges. Thinking of a small table top, which would also produce a dip. keep the tripple but the 1/5 by pass it. Some other shallow jumps, not looking to get into orbit.
the tripple could do with being made into a table top as it's useless in the place it is.the problem with the track is we can not put any decent mud jump's on it so they have to be wood which in turn means lots of money for the timber.something the club ain't got plus if the track goes largescale as its main class its gonna have to be made wider.so lots of work will need to be done just to get the ground.but once done it would be good

I think 4ms is ok as a general minimum. Jumps might be better nearer the exit of a corner. Might be ok to turn the tripple into a table top actually, should be easy to fill in the troughs. Make it more for large scale, as nitros do as much damage (particularly to the perimeter) and should be able to cope with anything a FG or Baja can

I have looked into the dimensions and the BRCA does state 4m width for both large scale and 1/8. With some sections of 1/8 going down to 3m. I think its best to stick to a min of 4m as 3m would be very tight for two large scale cars side by side. Converting the tripple to a tabletop could be a plan, i will look into some designs towards the end of the week
as brian said it just means filling the tripple in so not a bad job really mate the main thing will be getting the ground flat again as this year we did not have time to roll it and sort it right as we did last season and thats why it had got so bad this time around

4ms indeed is the minimum for LS imo. I think filling in the triple could be achievable, make a nice table top. Profile the approach carefully for LS and even truggies will fly. We do need to roll it this year, hopefully Jim will have a tractor available to pull his 10 ton roller again. The field has been mowed &track strimmed. Need to spray it soon beforethe 25/26 Oct Defo need a serious raking!
