brake set up

ok, had enough of having to let the car roll before turning because of no brakes.

can someone tell me how you sort out the linkage because i haven't got a clue

Loosen off the set screws in the collets on the linkage and slowly edge the collets forward so that the pads are nearly touching the shoes ( you can flip the pads with a screwdriver to see if they are loose or touching) Tighten up the set screws and test the car by pushing it forward and apply the brakes (turning on the tr & rx of course Very Happy ) Repeat if not enough grip and ensure the car will move freely when brakes are off. Hope that is undertandable Confused

thanks bri, took me a hour of mucking around with the linkages but i think i've sorted it out no.

just gonna wait for a day thats too too cold for me to make sure.

damn right its too cold

last time i went out the engine became so cold on my way down the road it didn't want to turn over....

wire on my starter box ended up getting so hot it melted the solder and came off

which i still haven't fixed because i got no idea where my mum put my soldering iron when we moved.
